How To Use The 12 Universal Laws To Guide Your Life

Updated: Jan 10, 2023

The world operates on 12 Universal Laws. Did you know that? These laws are the innate knowing of the universe. They have been passed down from ancient civilizations through cosmic channelers.

They have even been proven true by quantum physicists. Priestesses, it is so beneficial for you to know, learn, and embody these laws - so that you experience resonance when you hear people speak of them, and so that you can implement them in your everyday lives. Learning and embodying these laws will: - Guide you to become a master at manifestation. - Help you to balance your feminine and masculine, your flow and action. - Give you the understanding you need to be compassionate and full of love. Here are the 12 Universal Laws, and ways that you can use them to guide you for the rest of your life.

1. The Law of Divine Oneness

We are all connected to one source. We are all reflections of that same, singular source. You know this already, deep inside. Maybe you have experimented with things like mushrooms or LSD. Or, you may have been in a deep ceremonial experience where you feel that complete, total connectedness to everyone and everything. Whoa. That is a simple truth. It just is. We are whole, connected, and one. Practical magic: When you feel wronged, or at odds with another, come back to your oneness. I often visualize this like we are one big source of love, and we are sprinkled into small pieces, scattered across the earth. We all turn into pieces that may look different, and we all experience different things. But we all came from that one big source of love. We struggle through the illusion that we are different, because of our experiences. And we are - to some extent. Deep in our core though, we are the same. You can stand face-to-face with people, experiences, and situations that may trigger you or hurt you. You don’t need to condone them or even accept them. You just need to tune into the understanding that they are of the same stardust. When we can live from the understanding of oneness, we start to live a next-level life.

2. The Law of Vibration

All things in this universe are energetically vibrating. Love is the highest vibration. The lower vibrations are shame, hate, and guilt - which are all more dense, low vibrations. This Law is one of the more well-known ones, along with the Law of Attraction. Practical magic: STOP thinking you need to be high vibe all the time.

This is not a world where “love and light” all the time is even remotely helpful. Instead, feel those lower vibration feelings when they happen. Reframe them. Recognize what they may be trying to teach you. But don’t stay there.

Everyday, focus on the things, people, and places that you love. Can you do that for yourself? This will then move you into gratitude, which turns into more love, which results in more gratitude, and the cycle goes on and on and on. Our life is meant to be joyful. As long as you have the tools, you will always know how to shift yourself from density into a higher vibrating experience.

3. The Law of Correspondence

“Everything we do is infused with the energy with which we do it. If we're frantic, life will be frantic, if we're peaceful life will be peaceful.” - Marianne Willamson The energy in which we begin something is the energy that carries through. Full stop. That’s it. That is the Law of Correspondence. Simple, yet powerful. Practical magic: Intentionality is everything. The results of your actions will always be a direct reflection of your energy. Let’s say you’re sending a text to a friend. But the entire time you’re writing the text, you’re seething with anger. That will come through in your message - and you most likely will get that energy right back. When you are in a state of reaction, take a step back and witness the energy you are putting behind that reaction. Can you put more love behind it? What about gratitude? This way, you can be more open to receiving that same kind of energy back.

4. The Law of Attraction

If you’ve made it this far, I can guarantee you’ve heard of the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is the first thing you think of when manifesting. It’s the key. The Law of Attraction is your vibration, as affected by your thoughts, feelings, and actions. What you put out, is magnetized back to you. I heard this metaphor for how this law works, from Erin Dowdy: The Universe is a mirror with a time delay. You look into the mirror and raise your hand, and your mirror image does the same, only two seconds later. Because we are in this space-time continuum, we see that as a reaction instead of a mirror image. And in that two-second delay, our doubts creep in. We see that delay as a negative reaction or rejection to our actions, as opposed to time for our reflection to keep up - and give us the “correct” things, feelings, or experiences back. Practical magic: Decide on what it is you want right now. Even if it’s just a “pipe dream”. In fact, even better if it is! You just need to call your shot. The universe is calling you to co-create your dream life with it. Instead of “dare to dream”, we want to dare to decide, and then use the laws to co-create. Daring to dream is great. It expands your consciousness and primes you to believe that you ARE able to get whatever it is you want.

But when you dare to decide you take it one step further. You tell the universe, “THIS IS IT. I’m doing the thing”. You open up a timeline. And that timeline is affected by what you believe, how you feel, and most importantly - what actions you take.

Don’t just visualize and hope for the best. See your best life, and then take action to go for it.

5. The Law of Inspired Action

Once you’ve decided on what it is you're going to do, you must learn to listen. You MUST learn to listen to the messages that are moving you into action.

This could be:

  • An urge to make an investment

  • A feeling it’s time for an ending or a new beginning

  • Or even just going to a new coffee shop one day - simply because you feel called to

Tune in to your inner inspiration, and follow what your inner voice is guiding you to do.

Practical magic: Follow your highest excitement. Sometimes, this will look like defying the status quo, defying the logical, sequential way you have been doing things for SO long. You don’t have to know the reason, you just have to listen to your intuition.

Inspired action *needs* to come from our inner voice. Ask yourself, what is it I need to be doing right now? What is in my highest excitement? What is the thing that is dropping in? THAT will be the first step into the timeline. The Law of Inspired Action is the moment where you actually NEED to take the action step. Stop telling yourself that you don’t know what to do. That’s bullshit. You know exactly what to do. Tune in.

6. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

This one’s a mouthful, hey? Energy is always in motion. It’s always shifting. A thought can turn into a thing, and then back into thought again. It never stops. It’s a simple law, but a key one to remember as we attract and repel things in the co-creation of our lives. Practical magic: If everything is constantly moving, then you need to choose which timeline it moves in. You need to experience your desires in your being FIRST before they can become manifest. Think of this as a snowball. The snowball is rolling and rolling - it never stops. Just like energy.

Now, you want the snowball to go a different way. Do you just look at the snowball and hope that it goes the way you want it to? No...you need to take action. Just like the snowball, your intentions need action to reroute them so they can take the path you most desire. Before you can manifest something in the physical world, it has to happen internally first. If you want to be in the timeline of prosperity and endless abundance, you cannot simply wait for it to appear in the physical world without making those internal shifts.

This also means that you can learn ways to shift out of negative and low vibration energies quickly - so that you don’t co-create from those energies. Find simple actions to shift out of those states, like moving your body or getting out in nature.

7. The Law of Cause and Effect

Let's talk about karma. Karma is just the direct reaction to every action there is. That’s it. It is not good, nor bad. It just is. If your action is one thing, it doesn’t mean you will see the exact same action in return - it just means there’s a chain effect in motion. Practical magic: If everything is in motion, and your actions are what's choosing the timeline, then your actions are what sets off the reaction to start the timeline. That first thing that you do is what sets off the entire chain of reactions. It is your trajectory. I often use the example of cheating. If you cheat on someone, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be cheated on. What it does mean though, is that by cheating you will have set off the chain of reactions to continue the same energetic space. You will be given more circumstances to actually cheat again, more choices to make that may put you in the same space. You may feel like you broke the contract. Because you feel shameful, because you feel guilty, you are now opening up a timeline. In that timeline, what you receive is more experiences to feel shameful and guilty. Your internal state of being is creating more circumstances of the same thing.

However, if you were to change your state of being BEFORE you enter a new relationship, then that cancels out - because you've opened up a new timeline of a new state of being.

8. The Law of Compensation

What you give to the world will always come back to you. Maybe not in the exact same form, but it will always make its way to you.

This is very similar to the Law of Cause and Effect. Intent is everything. If you’re putting yourself and your actions out there to do true good and to live a true life, then that intention will come back to you in different forms.

Practical magic:

Be Joy. Be Hope. Be Peace. Be a dealer of gratitude. Do this not in hopes of having it come back to you, but because it truly gives you happiness to do it. When you live this way, you will be compensated in further happiness, joy, and gratitude. You may also be compensated with money, abundance and prosperity.

Or perhaps you’ll be rewarded with one miraculous moment. This is where paying it forward comes into play. When you decide to cover someone’s drink at Starbucks, you aren’t doing it because you hope that you will get it back after. Or that if you cover it, the universe will absolutely do something great for you. No. You do it because it feels good to do. You do it because it’s nice and you have the power to make someone’s day.

Sometimes miracles are actually a reflection of the law of compensation. Isn't that incredible?

9. The Law of Relativity

Nothing is good or bad. It just is. It's all relative to perception. Like many other Laws - simple and to the point. Practical magic

Life is always happening for you, not to you. So if something less than desirable happens, take it as a perfect time to reassess and start fine-tuning your energetics. If you’re having strong reactions and feelings to certain situations, then that energy may show up elsewhere. It may be very different from what you thought it would be, and it may feel like everything is piling up all at once. How many times in your life have you felt inundated with shitty things happening to you. One after the other. Scarcity mindset creeps in and it reflects back to you that feeling. Bank accounts get locked, unexpected costs pile up. Then, you decide that you are abundant. You are worthy. That you are unavailable for anything less than your new standard. Then, like magic, resolution. Your launch goes better than you imagined. A check came in the mail. You won a scholarship for that course you were looking at. Everything is relative. Use your unfavorable experiences to learn to be gentle on yourself and not to plummet your energy even more. Experiences like that are just an invitation to fine-tune your energetics. That's it.

10. The Law of Polarity

There are two sides to everything. Everything has a direct opposite. Practical magic:

Is there something in your life that you don't like? What's the opposite of it? When you know that something, you can then ask yourself “What’s stopping me from having that?” You can also decide to make yourself available or unavailable for the polarities in your life. Everything is dualistic, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you need to be living in it. Learn to take aligned action in order to set yourself up to live on the side that you DO want to be on.

11. Law of Rhythm

Everything is in motion, and that motion is natural and rhythmic. From your own personal cycles, to those of the moon or the sun. Everything is moving in divine timing. Practical magic: If that is true, then you must understand that you can surrender to that flow, to that rhythm, and release control. In that surrender, you gain more control and power for yourself. You begin to understand your own energetic cycles, and you learn when you can and cannot energetically accomplish something. Then you can plan your life accordingly. Doing this allows you to remove the habit of forcing things, and lessens the resistance in your life.

12. The Law of Feminine and Masculine

This law is also called the Law Of Gender. This Law is about balance. It’s about balancing the polarities in our lives, balancing the masculine and the feminine. Practical magic: Everything and everyone has these masculine and feminine qualities, and most of us have one that comes through more than the other. Leading with either the feminine or masculine can serve us well, but we must be mindful of balance. If we are constantly leading in our masculine, always taking action - then we are neglecting the beautiful feminine flow that can take us even deeper into our purpose. Vitality is found in the balance of both Yin and Yang, of the feminine and the masculine. There is infinite knowledge in these 12 Laws. They are applicable to every facet of life, and to every situation or decision we need to make. To truly integrate and use these Laws for your highest good, study them. Absorb them. Notice how they feel and what comes up to the surface as you learn. If you notice parts of yourself that do not feel aligned as you learn, or that there are things you want to change - write them down. Work through them and let me know what comes up so that I can help guide you.
