Hellloooo my beautiful honiessss,
I think we let our scarcity or desire to “get it right” interfere with the simplicity that is… selling.
Selling is a language that's communicated between two people. And we all have our own way of speaking that language.
When I was in Morocco, our guide took us to this beautiful rug shop. The store owner was probably the most charismatic man I've ever met. He weaved in and out of Arabic, French, Spanish, and English.
He complimented my beauty. He complimented my husband for his taste. He brought out every rug that my eyes even slightly looked towards.
And when it came time to ask about the prices, he said:
“I'm going to tell you a price, and then you give me another price. And we'll go back and forth from there.”
He was giving me the rules to his game we were about to play….sales.
I loved every second of it.
He wasn't afraid. He wasn't avoidant. We co-created an experience together, between my giggly laughs and attempts to pretend I was a polyglot too.
“Shukran, shukran,” I giggled.
He read me. He read my husband. And we happily shipped two Moroccan rugs back to the US.
Steep this …
I think so many are missing this piece in their sales.
As gifted as they may be. As psychic as their titles boast…
The muscle of simply tuning into the person in front of them in order to co-create an exchange is clouded by the pressure or fear of “trying to land the sale.”
Now multiply it.
We're not just selling to one person in front of us.
We're selling to a collective of souls who have already decided to work with us before either of our incarnations.
You already have people following you.
You already have people on your email list.
These collectives have raised their hands to hear from you.
And instead of attuning to what their needs are…
Instead of attuning to their deepest desires, their fears, their day-to-day prayers…
Too many are focused on regurgitation and speaking at them with generic, fluffy, broad language.
Today, before writing this email,
I allowed my body to lead me to my bookshelf.
I allowed my body to lean in toward a book.
I allowed my body to choose a page.
I allowed my mind to say that it wasn't good enough…
And I allowed my body to shuffle the book again…
Only for my body to land on the exact same page.
My finger on the exact passage included in this newsletter today.
I allowed my body to communicate what it is my people needed to hear today.
And it's simple.
You're being guided and directed… but you're not listening.
You're overcomplicating it with the fog of complexity and then calling it “strategy.”
The real tea …
The strategy is to know your client—deeply.
And to speak in the unmistakable language that only you hold—the one their souls will recognize as, “Yes. This is it. We've found them.”
People want to buy. But they need to see that you get them before they can trust you to lead them.
Do you know the language of your unique marketing?
Do you know what your people need to hear?
Do you know what would move the needle toward closing the sale?
Your intuition is your most untapped business asset (and I don't mean spiritual bypassing or crystals in your bra).
The more you listen, the more it speaks.
If you want to go deeper into this—MUSE is where we do exactly that.
Because your business has a voice.
Your offers have a rhythm.
Your content has a soul.
And the better you listen, the more aligned (and wildly profitable) your business becomes.
More details on MUSE coming soon…sign up to hear about it here.

So that's happening behind the scenes….eeeek.
What else? hmm… i'm on my bleed (which I am so so grateful for). over the years i've actively re-conditioned myself to find gratitude and blessings in what was once so painful or lost for so long.
the sun is out today and I'm soaking in the warmth.
